In my opinion, this was the first interesting part of the story. It encouraged me to read on. This was the first person vs. person conflict in the story. The conflict was between Burris and Miss Caroline. Also, this passage contained foreshadowing. To Kill a Mocking Bird Miss Caroline said, ââ¬Å"Sit down please, Burris,â⬠ and the moment she said it I knew she had made a serious mistake. The boyââ¬â¢s condescension flashed to anger. ââ¬Å"You try and make me, missusâ⬠ (pg 27). In my opinion, this was the first interesting part of the story. It encouraged me to read on. This was the first ââ¬Ëperson vs. personââ¬â¢ conflict in the story. The conflict was between Burris and Miss Caroline. Also, this passage contained foreshadowing. When Jean Louis thought, ââ¬Å"and the moment she said it I knew she had made a serious mistakeâ⬠, she was foreshadowing the tantrum that Burris would go on. A tiny, almost invisible movement and the house was very still (pg 15). I can see the plot structure developing from this passage. It really kept me in suspense. In my opinion, this passage implies that Boo Radley saw the three boys execute their little stunt. Usually, no one would be concerned if some one were to touch his or her house. However, Boo Radley was a very violent person and had been locked up in his house for years. Therefore, I think the three boys will have a conflict with Boo Radley eventually. ââ¬Å"Iââ¬â¢m goinââ¬â¢ after them ââ¬â¢em,â⬠ he said. I sat upright. ââ¬Å"You canââ¬â¢t. I wonââ¬â¢t let you.â⬠ (pg 56). This passage reveals the characters of both
